About the Artist

To me the art of photography is the art of “seeing” in a unique and creative way; then capturing that “seeing” with a camera and forming an equivalent of that perception into a photograph.  I have always been fascinated by the ability of pictures to convey a unique perceptive of beauty in ordinary places and things.  I enjoy practicing the art of “seeing” and taking photographs allows me to share those perceptions with others.  Through classes at the Genesee Center for Arts – Community Dark Room and my involvement with Camera Rochester Photography Club, I have been able to improve my “seeing” and image making skills.
